In this guide, we have collected our absolute favorite places around Sweden so that you can create new memories together with the ones you love this summer. We wish you a long and peaceful (as much as possible with small children) holiday filled with luxurious bathrobes, ice cream eating contests, swimming in shiny lakes and scrapes on your knees.

Arctic Bath Sweden

For a few weeks this summer, Yasuragi is being adapted for the younger children. Traditional Japanese culture does not only accommodate silence and harmony – play, laughter and imagination have at least as much space for both adults and children. The idea is that you get time together in a relaxing environment without mobile phones.
Ösjön Isthmus

The Furille factory
Fabriken Furillen is the design hotel which, in addition to a completely unique industrial hotel building, also includes a couple of small cottages close to nature within practical cycling distance. The hotel restaurant is signed by Mikael Nypelius and Karl Sjöström, who together wrote the book Ciderrevolution!. The menu mainly consists of freshly harvested ingredients from Nypelius' family farm.
Svartsö Accommodation
Svartsö Logi pitched its first luxury tents as early as 2014 and since then the fully booked successful seasons have succeeded each other. The canvas tents, which stand right at the water's edge, are furnished with a double bed, lanterns and an electric fireplace. No shower - instead step out onto your private wooden deck and start the day with a dip in the ocean. The booking includes a five-course dinner at the celebrated and very nearby Svartsö Krog, which is worth a trip in itself.
Fejan Outdoor
Image google "glamping" - that's exactly what it looks like on Fejan. Their five canvas tents each have a balcony facing the water and are furnished with lanterns, a wood stove and a double bed with hotel sheets. Usually a joint dinner is eaten at a long table next to the water, but this year each group receives ingredients and tools to be able to prepare meals outside by the tent.
Lindeborg Eco Retreat
A place to stop and breathe. Accommodation in beautiful rooms with proximity to nature and the farm's animals. Book a weekend for the family or take your friends on a yoga retreat. Located outside Nyköping, only an hour and a half drive from Stockholm.

An architect-designed house with care in every detail where no compromise was made in either aesthetics or quality. There is no TV at Rörbäck - but you hardly miss it when you sit in the greenhouse in the evening with a glass of wine, cook good food and socialize. In the summer of 2021, a pool will be in place.
Björholmen's Marina
In the middle of Bohuslän on the northwest Tjörn in a well-preserved fishing village is Björholmen's Marina. Everything here is characterized by the sea – the smells, tastes and activities.
Type O loft
A different B&B located in southern Scania. Check out from everyday life and check in in peace and quiet. Fall asleep in the sunset, wake up with the light. Here, in a secluded location on the edge of Österlen, you can enjoy letting time go at your own pace.

Eriksberg Safaripark
Welcome to the Nordics' largest safari park, located in beautiful Blekinge. Here you meet wild life on the animals' terms. Then stay in SynVillan, a spectacular natural residence with a fantastic view of Mahraviken. Through a glass floor you have the opportunity to see the animals being fed under the house designed by Thomas Sandell.
Stedsans in the Woods
On the border between Småland and Halland, food stylist and cookbook author Mette Helbæk and her husband Flemming Schiøtt Hansen have intertwined Danish hygge with Swedish outdoor life. Here you live in minimalist wooden cabins and sleep in beautiful, organic linen sheets. The food is locally produced and freshly harvested, the drink list includes natural wine and Mette's own kombucha.
